Leaving on a Jet Plane

Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings! I pray that this letter finds you and your family well.I am excited to share that I have been blessed again to be able to go to Africa. I will be returning to Malawi with Johnson Ferry Baptist. We will be planning to do more discipleship lessons with the women, which I am very excited about. I am looking forward to seeing them again and see what the Lord has done in their hearts over the past year. We are also planning to do some other events with the tribe, but we are in prayer about it and letting the Lord lead the trip where he sees fit.
On June 25th I will be departing to go work along side and organization called Children of the Nations. Children of the Nations sees itself as a “movement of people” gathered by God to provide quality care to children under His guidance. He has created a worldwide body of people with a common passion who deny themselves to care for children. Children of the Nations is not a “missionary sending” agency but utilizes individuals from around the globe, tapping into their talents in a professional manner, which strategically assists the overall mission in accomplishing its goals.
I am writing to ask for your prayers and participation. Please keep my team and myself in your prayers in the months to come. Prayers are needed to reach people with the gospel and for our safety both traveling and while in Africa. Pray that the Lord will prepare our hearts to be open to whatever he has planned for us while we are overseas.
Please join me in this adventure. I would love for a group of people dedicated to pray for my team and I while we are in Africa. Also, I am asking you to prayerfully consider supporting me financially however you feel led. My goal is to raise $2000 towards my trip. I know it is a lot but I know God is more than ‘a lot’! :)  Thank you for your prayers and for your participation with me in this endeavor. I am very excited and I will send you an update once I have returned from my trip.

“The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.” I Samuel 30:24

Thank you for sharing with me in this mission!

With Love,

Ashley
